A young woman, around 21 or 22 years old, smiled softly as she looked at the needle's tip. She pressed it slightly, causing some liquid to squirt out, then inserted the needle into the rubber stopper of the IV bag hanging on a metal stand, drawing out the liquid inside. The liquid changed color from clear to bright yellow. She gently adjusted the IV line connected to the woman lying down, who was telling her about how fever and vomiting had weakened her since the previous night. The young woman didn't respond verbally, only smiled. After finishing, she moved to the next bed, checked the IV fluid that was almost finished, and told the woman beside the patient, presumably his mother, to inform them when the fluid was done. The woman smiled in response, and the young woman left the room. As she exited, she saw a nurse coming out of the maternity ward carrying something covered in a black cloth, which piqued her curiosity. The nurse, noticing her, nervously greeted her and explained she was delivering a message. The young woman, Yusrah, didn't respond, which didn't bother the nurse, Sakina, as Yusrah was known to only respond when she wanted to. Sakina quickly walked down the corridor and entered the chief doctor's office. Yusrah watched her, feeling uneasy about some recent events since the chief doctor's return but had no evidence to speak up. She decided to head to the recovery room for new mothers. After a short while, she returned to the common area where some colleagues were chatting and eating. Unlike them, she was there for her internship, which her professor had arranged due to her diligence and trustworthiness, despite it being unusual for a private hospital. One of the male colleagues jokingly invited her to join them, calling her 'Ustaza' (a term for a religious teacher), which she found annoying as it implied she was overly serious. She politely declined and continued her work, gathering her tools to check on patients. Another colleague suggested she take a break, but Yusrah, determined, continued her rounds, asking a mother holding her child to proceed.
