Around 1:30 AM, he parked his crazy white Benz in front of a big club, barely finding a spot as it was Friday night and people were flocking to the club for the weekend. Despite the club's parking lot being as large as a village, he only found a space because someone was leaving. He turned off the car and got out. He was a handsome young man, fair-skinned with Fulani features, around 34-35 years old, wearing designer jeans and a shirt. He locked the car and walked towards the entrance, checking his phone for a message. Four hefty security guards with guns and black uniforms greeted him respectfully. "Welcome sir," they said. He nodded and entered. The security door, which looked impressive, asked for his access card. He sighed, hoping he hadn't left it in the car, but found it in his pocket and scanned it. The door acknowledged the card and said, "Welcome to Xperience." He entered a sophisticated club that didn't have a Nigerian setting; it felt like being abroad. The club was filled with important people, and it was unlike any other in Abuja. Women were on stage doing pole dances, music was playing, and people were dancing and spraying dollars. Some were drinking, others were using cocaine, and customized Azul was being served. There were unique shishas and vapes, and the club was clearly a place where money was spent. Security guards stood in different corners, looking like statues with communicative devices in their ears. He took the lift to the second floor and went straight to an office guarded by two large security men. "Is Pablo inside?" he asked. They respectfully replied, "Yes sir, he's inside." He opened the door without knocking. The office was luxurious, like a president's, with cold air conditioning. A handsome man was sitting at a desk, wearing an Armani white shirt and shorts that reached his knees, with white Nike socks and black Dior sandals. He was working on a MacBook, typing rapidly without looking up. The man who entered sat down, staring at him as if he had never seen anything like it. Pablo had long, beautiful fingers, and he was tall with dark skin, a broad chest, and abs, clearly a result of working out. He had pink lips, a defined nose, large white eyes, thick black eyebrows, a well-groomed beard, and wavy hair. He wore a small gold earring in one ear. The man watching him thought that if Maheer were a woman, men would line up for him. Maheer had a magnetic presence but also a bad temper and a twisted personality. Without looking up, Maheer asked in a no-nonsense voice, "How is my shipment, Nas?" The young man, Nas, snapped out of his thoughts and replied, "I spoke to the captain. They will arrive at the Lagos port around 1500hrs tomorrow, so the shipment will be here the day after tomorrow. I assure you, Escobar!" Maheer finally looked up, folding his arms and studying Nas. Nas quickly looked away and noticed about 40 grams of packaged cocaine on the table, with a small white container holding a bit of it. He picked up the container, opened it, and asked, "Whose coke is this, Pablo?" He sniffed some, shivering and exclaiming, "Oh God!" He closed the container, stretched, and said, "This coke must be the one that arrived yesterday from Mexico. It's amazing; I felt it in my bones. It made my brain tingle and scatter." He smiled, trying to take another sniff, but Maheer gave him a stern look, making him put it back quickly. "You don't get high on duty, remember?" Maheer said with charisma. "Good," he added, continuing his work. Just then, a customized gold iPhone 14 Pro Max on the table rang. Maheer glanced at it but continued working. Nas, feeling the effects of the small amount of coke he had sniffed, looked at the screen and smiled. "When is the Boss coming back?" he asked. Without looking up, Maheer replied, "Don't you have her number?" Nas quickly said, "But everyone knows you're her favorite. She must have told you." Maheer, still not looking at him, said, "Leave my office." Nas said, "The Boss is obsessed with you. You even boss her around, Pablo, as if you own the empire, even though you're just partners now. She brought you in like she did with us. What's so special about you that she listens to you and sees only you, even though she has over two hundred men working for her, not counting the external ones who bring her trouble?" Maheer ignored him, looking at the phone, which had rung five times from a number saved as Hajiya. There was a knock on the door, and Maheer pressed a button on his chair, allowing the door to open. The club manager entered, dressed smartly in a black suit. He respectfully greeted Maheer and said, "Sir, we need XTC (Ecstasy or MDMA) and Liquid X (GHB). We're out of today's supply, and tonight's guests are more than any other Friday." Nas quickly said, "Didn't we use the last dose of Liquid X today?" Maheer slowly stood up, adjusted his chair, took a Glock 17 Gen 4 from the chair, tucked it into his waistband, and walked out like a king, followed by the others. He went upstairs to the supply room and kitchen. He gave the manager two boxes of XTC and said, "I'll make the Liquid X in the next 30 minutes." The manager quickly asked, "Will you make it yourself tonight, sir?" Nas smiled and said, "You're looking at a chemist." The manager smiled and left. Maheer went to a large kitchen, clearly used for making drugs, put on a black apron, and started boiling water. Nas sat down, watching him, thinking that even though he had been in the business for a long time, he couldn't make drugs like Maheer. Maheer was a genius, which is why the Boss was so obsessed with him, even though they tried to hide it. Nas knew there was definitely something going on between them.
