A young man was walking quickly in a state of anxiety, just like everyone else in the neighborhood, due to the weather indicating that it might rain heavily at any moment. His demeanor showed he was not at ease. He was hurrying with the strength and determination typical of strong men, trying to avoid getting caught in the impending downpour. The rain started to drizzle, prompting him to quicken his pace to avoid getting his clothes wet, as he planned to wear them again the next day, and to protect his bag containing his study materials. He also remembered his grandmother, Dije, who was alone at home and had difficulty walking due to old age. He greeted her as he entered the house and saw her struggling to gather the animals due to the approaching storm. He quickly took over and secured the animals, but got drenched in the process. He then went to Dije's room to fix the plastic sheets they used to prevent rainwater from damaging their belongings. After securing the sheets, he changed into old clothes and sat down, reflecting on their difficult life. Dije was his only family, having raised him since childhood. A loud thunderclap startled him, followed by a scream from the neighbors, indicating trouble. The neighborhood, filled with old houses, often faced issues during heavy rains. Despite the strong rain and wind, the neighbors heard the cries for help and started coming out to assist each other. He first checked on his grandmother, who was struggling to contain the water leaking into her room. She urged him to go help the neighbors. As he stepped out, he saw the entire area flooded, resembling a river.
