*KADUNA*
A convoy of soldiers in Hilux vehicles and a large jeep in the middle entered the main gate of the N.D.A Barracks in Jere, Kaduna. The soldiers at the gate saluted the person in the military-colored jeep, indicating their high rank. The convoy headed towards the large houses of senior officers in the barracks and stopped at the largest house. The soldiers disembarked, waiting for their commander to exit the vehicle.
A soldier holding a briefcase, phones, and a laptop bag opened the passenger door and saluted. A handsome, strong young man, likely not yet forty, dressed in green military attire, stepped out. His presence commanded respect and admiration. This was General Muhammad Abdullah, G.O.C I DIV Nigerian Army Kaduna, a man known for his impressive physique and disciplined lifestyle.
He entered his house with his PA, Ahmed, who seemed to share a strong bond with him. General Muhammad instructed Ahmed to take care of the soldiers and then rest. Ahmed distributed money to the soldiers, who appreciated their generous commander. Ahmed then went to his nearby house, where his wife and young son greeted him joyfully. They shared a moment of happiness as Ahmed's wife, Maryam, informed him that her father had forgiven her and would bring her sister, Yasmin, to visit.
Meanwhile, General Muhammad found a woman's shoe in his living room and angrily confronted his cook, Emanuel, who had allowed two women into the house. He ordered them out and warned Emanuel. After a bath, General Muhammad rested.
Ahmed and his family enjoyed a peaceful evening. Yasmin arrived, and the sisters shared a joyful reunion. Yasmin, more beautiful than Maryam, expressed her dislike for General Muhammad, whom she had never met but judged based on rumors.
Later, Yasmin and Emanuel, who had become friends, went for a walk. Emanuel remembered he had forgotten an errand for General Muhammad, and they hurried back. General Muhammad, waiting for Emanuel, was irritated by the delay. He discussed with Ahmed his dislike for the cook and the women who had intruded earlier. They planned to visit Hajiya's house and then Unguwar Shanu.
As Yasmin and Emanuel approached, General Muhammad noticed Yasmin and found her beautiful but assumed she was crazy. Emanuel apologized for forgetting the errand, and they left for their destination.
